So my parents have had a little project in the works with my younger sis and her hubby.  A tree farm on the family farm complete with tree house.

Thing is about tree farms is Christmas trees take oh about seven years to mature.  So this year will be the first year of Sycamore Springs Tree Farm!  Until Thanksgiving weekend 2011 opening, we’ll just use the party porch.

A little birthday barbecue for 45.

Catered by my dad.  True Grit’s John Wayne has nothing on my dad.   He’s honest, strong, and generous.  Happy almost Father’s Day!

And my mom, in the tree house kitchen, who really did win the Betty Crocker award in highschool.  I have seen the trophy and may or may not be planning on stealing it.

The kids had a little trouble with the corn hole.

But they were all about the hay ride.

Good times at the Tree House and Party Porch were had by all!
